  The question is--which William CORKUM b. 1818 at Chester married Sarah JOHNSON in 1839, Sarah LEGGE in 1847, and Mary KAISER in 1858. The first clue is that two of the known children of William And Sarah (JOHNSON) CORKUM were born in 1850 and 1854, so the husband of Sarah JOHNSON cannot be the husband of Sarah LEGGE. Also, since Sarah (LEGGE) CORKUM is still living beyond 1858, the husband of Mary KAISER [who is a widower in 1858] must also be the husband of Sarah JOHNSON. Next, the death record of the William CORKUM who dies in Oct 1871 states that he is the s/o William and Salome and, from the 1871 Census, this William can be identified as the h/o Mary KAISER. So the h/o of Sarah JOHNSON and Mary KAISER must be William Thomas CORKUM b. 22 Mar 1818, s/o John William and Salome (DOHNIG) CORKUM, and the h/o of Satah LEGGE must be William CORKUM b. 14 Jan 1818, s/o Henry and Elizabeth Margaret Catherine (CORKUM) CORKUM.
