  On 02 Jan 1821, Mary HUBLEY, widow, marries one Caspar EISENHAUER at Chester Baptist. When I look at every last HUBLEY male of the right vintage, the name that pops up is that of Johann Friedrich HUBLEY, b. 09 May 1789, s/o Ferdinand and Magdalena Salome HUBLEY. John Fred HUBLEY and Anna Maria BARGELT, both of Lunenburg, are married 1810 at Lunenburg and have three children, the last being born 1815. Further, the family is Baptist and John Fred is known to have died in 1815. And finally, every other male HUBLEY I can find seems to be ruled out as the man who leaves a Mary HUBLEY, Widow by 1821. In addition, Owen Napean EISENHAUER b. 1909 maintained [in discussion with Dale Ware of Brampton, ON] that his great-grandmother was Anna Maria [BARGELT] HUBLEY EISENHAUER. So it would appear fairly certain that the Mary, Widow [Yes, the pun was intended], who marries Caspar EISENHAUER in 1821 is carried here as Anna Maria (BARGELT) HUBLEY. Also, in 1850, a Maria EISENHAUER dies at Lunenburg, again according to the Baptist Register, and pending unearthing of further evidence, she will be carried as this Maria. [Bob H]
