  • Notes
    • Johan Martin's baptismal date is given as 05 Nov 1805; however, the last digit in his date of birth is illegible, so what we know is that he was b. 04 Jun 180?

From the dates of birth and baptism for the other children, he certainly looks like he was born after John Henry and before Susannah Elzabeth. But he is baptized on the same day as Hannah Catherine, who is born 1804. If the records are anywhere near accurate, first, he cannot be her twin; and second, from Susannah Elizabeth's DOB, it is highly unlikely that he was born 1805. So he is most likely born between 1801 and 1803.

His burial record for 03 Apr 1852 states that he was age 52; however, that would put his birth almost too close to that of his brother John Henry. So, the general conclusion seems to be that he was born 1801. [Bob H]
