  He is placed in this family for the following reasons. First, the 1921 Census of NF states that he is age 79 and was born Nov 1842 in Halifax. This usually means Halifax County and, if he was 79 and born Nov., this would place his birth in 1841. Second, the mother of this family, Eliza Matilda MOSER, is know to have a brother named John Benjamin MOSER about whom nothing is know after his birth (for several reasons, Benjamin 1841 appears to be ruled out as being Eliza's brother).
