Notes - The evidence that this Henry BREMNER is the Henry who m. Margaret BAKER in 1858 is purely circumstantial. On the one hand, the death record for Winifred (BREMNER) BOND states that her father was born in Scotland, although I doubt this is true; also, in the 1901 Census, the DOB's for both Henry and wife Margaret are off by four years. On the other hand however, there do not appear to be any other Henry BREMNER's who could be the husband of Margaret BAKER. Also, although the DOB's in the 1901 Census are off, the day and month of Margaret's birth is correct, and the age difference between Henry and Margaret--seven years--is exactly correct. So, on balance, I think this is the right Henry BREMNER.
