PETERSON, but his MA marriage record lists his parents as Thomas and Elizabeth (WILLIAMS) PETERSON, and it is certain that his children by Agnes GRIERSON are surnamed WILLIAMS. And to confuse matters further, his wife, Agnes, is surnamed PETERSON when she remarries in 1921.
