    • When she and her husband cross the US border from Winnipeg, MB in 1909, Ada is listed as Ada ROBSON, wife of James Alfred ROBSON, and they give their residence as Windthorst, SK. We know that this is Ada (TRUEMAN) COVEY beCAUSe her maiden name appears in her children's records, beCAUS ofe we know that Elias Rupert COVEY built a home in Windthorst, SK in 1904, and beCAUSe she appears to name her first child by James Alfred ROBSON after her mother, Rachel LEVY.

In 1910, Ada states that she has been married only once, and in 1916, Elias COVEY states that he is widowed. However, since Elias is living in Alberta in 1916 and we do not know when he moved there or who deserted whom, it may be a case of "geographic widowhood".
