  	It is not certain that this is the Mary Magdalene SLAUENWHITE who dies on 26 Mar 1890. However, a search for all persons who bore the names Mary or Magdalene and SLAUENWHITE, by any spelling, turned up only two candidates: a. Mary Magdalene LOHNES, wife of John Leonard SLAUENWHITE. Her last child--Jennie Savilla--is born 8 Aug 1891 and if this were in error, she would fit. However, the 8 Aug 1891 date is taken from a parish register and is part of Jennie's Application for Delayed Registration of Birth, which cites the 1891 date. And, Jennie does not appear with the family in the 1891 Census so the 1891 date appears to be correct. b. This Mary SLAUENWHITE, who appears in the 1881 Census and cannot be found in the 1891 Census or in later documents. Also, her paternal grandmother is named Mary Magdalene. So it would seem that it is this Mary SLAUENWHITE who is named Mary Magdalene and dies in 1890.
