• Notes

  At her 1834 marriage to Daniel MOSHER, the witnesses are Jacob MOSHER and Simeon WOLFE, and the latter is most likely her brother. There is only one known Simeon WOLFE, and he is b. 1817, s/o George and Anna Cathereine (SPONAGEL) WOLFE. Goerge and Anna Catherine are Dutch Reformed as, apparently, is Mary WOLFE and they are m. in 1813, which is the correct time frame. So it seems that the most probable parents for Mary are George and Anna. But note that the same Simeon WOLFE is a witness to Daniel MOSHER's second marriage, this time to Maria Anna WOLFE, which gives rise to the notion that she may be Mary's younger sister. Then note that DOB for Maria Anna WOLFE, d/ o George and Anna Catherine WOLFE exactly matuches the DOB on the marker for Maria Anna WOLFE, second wife of Daniel MOSHER. So I believe that Mary WOLFE and Maria Anna WOLFE are sisters.
