Notes - On 15 May 1813, a Lucy FADER marries William HUME, and on 6 Dec 1814, another Lucy FADER marries John Tobias COOK. We see both marriages in the Chester Township Book, and we we know they are two different Lucy's beCAUSe they are both having a string of children by their respective husbands at the same time.
I see only one recorded Lucy FADER of the Chester Area who is the right age to be one of the above, and that is Lucy b. 13 Dec 1789, d/o Johann Adam and Lucy (BRYZELIUS) FADER. Now while it is always possible that one of the above Lucy's is the widow of a FADER, I cannot find a single candidate who fits. So it would seem that what we need is another Lucy FADER of Chester.
The next thing we know is that the Lucy who m. John Tobias COOK is appears in the 1871 Census, where her age would place her birth about 1787, which is close enough to the mark that we cannot rule out Lucy 1789 as the wife of Tobias.
However, we also know that Charles Fred Henry FADER, b. 1 Jul 1793 s/o Karl Friedrich and Susanna (BRYZELIUS) FADER, first marries one Anna Barbara COOK and that she d. 29 OCT 1816. But now I think a ray of light begins to penetrate the darkness beCAUSe Tobias COOK and his wife Lucy FADER name their first child, a daughter b. 09 Mar 1818, as Barbara Ann COOK.
Another interesting fact is that, if one looks at the children of Charles Fred Henry FADER and compares their names to those of the children of Tobias COOK, there are fives names that appear in both families, including Charles and David. But if one compares the children of William HUME to those of Charles COOK, the only names in common are John and Elizabeth, which probably occurs in most large families.
So I believe that the Lucy who m. John Tobias COOK is the d/o Karl Friedrich and Susanna (BRYZELIUS) FADER, which leaves Lucy d/o Johann Adam FADER as the wife of William HUME. As to when Lucy w/o John Tobias was born, there seems to be a gap in Karl Friedrich's birth order abt. 1795, which fits the above picture very nicely.
