• Notes

  There is a NS birth record for a Catherine Ann FADER with his DOB, but she immediately disappears and is replaced by an Ada Florence FADER who has the same DOB but no birth record. We sometimes see a missing birth record for a twin who dies at birth; but, in this case, the situation is reversed, which one never sees. Also, if there is Catherine in this family and it is possible that the name was reused. But, when a name is reused, it is almost always used on the next child of the same sex, which is not the case here. So I believe that either the birth record is in error (not at all unusual in this era), or somebody changed this daughters name from Catherine Ann to Ada Florence, more likely the former.
