Notes - In the 1911 Census, this Alfred HOSKINS has been adopted by his grandparents and there is no sign of either of his parents. When his father, widower, dies in 1947, it a son, Perley who reports his death. SO while Alfred and Perley may be two distinct sons, it seems more likely that they are the same person.
