- I know of no direct evidence which shows that the Philip MOSHER who marries Dorothy BUSCH in 1799 is this Philip MOSHER. The reason I suspect that it is this Philip MOSHER is that his first wife dies after having given birth to their son in Aug 1798. Since we know that this son survived, Philip would have needed a wife in short order.
