HUBLEY born in NS in1869, and the “E.” in the above records is both distinct and consistent. However, there is a Charles Fraser HUBLEY b. 10 Mar 1868. The only possibilty is Charles Edwin HUBLEY b. 20 Feb 1874. However, the is also an “Edward Charles HUBLEY of Halifax” b. 1874 - 1877 to be accounted for, and someone born at SMB is mopre likely to give Halifax as thier home (upon enlisting in the army) than someone born at New Cumberland.
