However, his parents marriage record states that they are both single, and his mother is listed as the informant at his father's death (when she would be 53). So it is not possible to deduce from these records whom Jean is the child of. Also, although it is quite possible, it seems suspicious that Winfred's mother, who married at the age of 30, would have 11 children by that husband.
