• Notes

  The Baptismal register appears to give a 12 May 1838 DOB. However, It is believed that the father of this child dies Oct 1836 and so the date is probably either mis-recorded or the “8” is actually a closed “6”. So I believe he was born on 12 May, either in 1836 or 1837, more likely 1836. Note that he is baptized on the same day as his brother George, who is baptized four years and four months after his birth. [Bob H]
