    Notes
    • This could be Deborah (Speidel) Ramey HUBLEY, but consider:

      a. The last confirmed child of Richard Logan HUBLEY and Deborah SPEIDEL is b. 1889
      b. The 1899 death notice for Mrs. Richard HUBLEY gives her age as 35 yrs when, by all accounts, Deborah would be about 50 in 1899
      c. Charles W. Hubley is b. 1897

First, if Charles W. is the s/o Richard & Deborah, why are there no children between 1889 and 1897? Second, there is the problem of that age at death. Some, myself included, have suggested that Charles is the s/o Richard & Hattie as stated in Charles' obit. But if that were true and Deborah dies in 1899, it would mean that Richard had an affair with Deborah's daughter while all three were living under the same roof. I just do not believe that.

So, for the moment, Charles (see his notes) is carried as the son of yet another wife of Richard Logan HUBLEY. [Bob H]
