  • Notes
    • There is much confusion surrounding this person. The reason is that several registers record the birth of a son named George LeCAIN in 1875 and also on a similar date in 1876. However, there is also a record for the birth of daughter "Georgie" in 1875, and there is a marker inscription for daughter Georgina that places her birth in Jun 1875 and agrees with one of the birth records for son "George". But there is also a son named George who is born in 1863 and survives to adulthood; so it is unlikely that there would be a second son named George born 2 or 3 years later. My conclusion is that there no second George; and that the only child born 1875/6 and is daughter Georgina.
