  Hi obit states that he is the son of Ted HARVEY and Marianne HARVEY, but the 1950 Census reveals a more complicated story. In that census, his mother Marianne HEROUX, a divorcee, is the housekeeper for Theodore HARVEY. Living in the household are Marianne's four children, including Philip, all of whom are listed as housekeeper's child. So it would seem that Ted and Marianne later married, and Ted became Philip's step-father..
