  Donald Arthur's Funeral record at Cruikshank's list no father, only a mother named Jennie SLAUNWHITE, and the funeral is charged to her. He is listed as age 6, is RC, and is buried Mount Olivet. It would appear that he is the illegitimate son of a RC mother named Jennie SLAUNWHITE who was born at Terence Bay, is Catholic, and lives in Halifax City. Only one known Jennie SLAUNWHITE meets this description and cannot otherwise be ruled out. Further, Donald Arthur's burial record at Mt. Olivet gives his parents as Thomas and Jennie SLAUNWHITE; this Thomas is probably his step-father, Thomas KILLEEN.
