- He is listed as a son of William and Mary Ann (GREENOUGH) POWER in the 1911 Census, but his mother woulf have been 50 when he was born. Also, a Robert POWER b. 1900 appears as well, even though he is not listed in the 1901 Census. From his marriage record, it is clear that Robert is the illegitimate son of a GREENOUGH mother. So it seems highly likely that both Robert and Allan were adopted.
