  In the 1911 Census, Mary Susannah (LANTZ) ZWICKER is listed as having four children, two of whom are Carroll ZWICKER and Lurica ZWICKER. In 1959, one Carroll GEDDES dies and the informant is listed as his sister Mrs. Douglas MELLICK. From her 1998 obit, it is clear the Mrs. MELLICK is the person listed in the 1911 Census as Lurica ZWICKER; further, her obit states that she was the d/o George and Susan ZWICKER. However, in Carroll GEDDES' death record, the word sister is used in quotation marks, implying that she was not actually his biological sister. And although It seems clear that Carroll GEDDES and Carroll ZWICKER are the same person, his death record lists his parents as Norman GEDDES and Blanche LANTZ!  Moreover, there is a Blanche T. LANTZ, single, age 22, in the 1901 Census; she is lving with her grandmother as are two children who appear to be her illegitimate twin daughters. Since his death record says that his mother is named Blanche LANTZ and the informant was someone who knew him, and also beCAUSe the word sister is used in quotation marks in that record, he has been placed here as the child of Norman GEDDES by a previous relationship with the above-mentioned Blanche LANTZ.  But this is certainly not proven.
