- The 1964 obit for William Alvin Joseph SLAUNWHITE lists six children—Ann, Kelsie, Mary, Sherry, Stanley, and Sylvia, and the subsequent 2019 obit for son Stanley identifies Sherry as a step-sister, so she may be Sherry BROPHY.
The 2020 obit for Marjorie (SLAUNWHITE) GEORGE identifies her as a daughter of "Alvin and Annie", and her DOB [plus other details] identifies her mother as Annie JOLLIMORE, first wife of Alvin. Further, Marjorie’s obit lists eleven siblings—sisters Helen, Kelsie, Mary, Sherry, Sylvia, and Thelma, and brothers, George, Jeffrey, Kenneth, Les, and Stanley.
Three things seem evident. First, daughter Ann in Alvin’s obit is probably one of the other daughters listed in Marjorie’s obit by a different name. Second, Alvin's second wife, Marjorie RYAN does have two other children by her first husband--Denise and Michael BROPHY, so there is some chance that they are listed in Marjorie (SLAUNWHITE) GEORGE's obit by a different name. And third, since Alvin and Annie (JOLLIMORE) SLAUNWHITE were married for eight years before her death, it seems unlikely that she was the biological mother of ten (or possibly eleven) children, especially since they are still living on 2020. At this point, there is no indication as to whom six of the [possibly] twelve children’s parents are, or whether they are Marjorie's GEORGE's biological, step, adopted, or foster siblings; so they are carried here as children of Alvin and Annie for the moment.
