• Notes

  The obituary notice for Stuart WILE states that he has one living daughter, Viola, and that two daughters predeceased him. However, various records bring the total to five daughters, all having quite different names. The explanation for this seems to be first, that the names recorded for two daughters at birth were quickly changed to something entirely different; and second, that since the youngest daughter, Thelma, died on the day of her birth in 1919, she was unknown to the obit writer.
