  At marriage, he gives his parents as Jeffrey and Ann FLEET; however, in the 1901 Census, he is listed as the grandson of Jeffrey FLEET, and it is highly unlikely that he is son of wife Sophia Ann (SMITH) FLEET due to her age, 53, when he is born.
