Notes - Robert Emery Ernst is a puzzle. He is buried in the same plot with Thomas Harris Ernst, who is certainly old enough to have been his father. If so, his mother is unknown and in any event there is not NS Civil death record for him that I can find. It is also physically possible that he is the s/o Wilbert and Bessie (SLAUENWHITE) ERNST, but Bessie would have been 46 when he was born, which makes that seem unlikely. It is also possible that he was a grandson of Wilbert and Bessie.
