  On his death certificate, his parents are given as Emmanuel RODENHISER and Lena PENNY. However, it seems clear that Emmanuel RODENHISER was not his biological gather. First, family sources maintain that Lena was already with child when she moved in as Emmanuel RODENHISER's housekeeper in 1905 after his wife's death. And second, if Harold was born Sep 1905, counting back nine months places his conception before the death of Emmanuel's wife, Louisa (OICKLE) RODENHISER. It's possible, but not likely, that he was the s/o Harry DeLONG,, since he apparently never carried the DeLONG name as did Addis Henry DeLONG. [Bob H]
