Notes - At marriage in 1897, Edith Oliver gives her age as 21 and her parents as Charles OLIVER and Anna PENNEY. However, in the 1891 Census, her age is listed as 5, and her parents ages are 29 and 24, respectively. But if Edith was born in 1876, her mother, Anna, would have been age ten at the time; so Edith is lying about her age and she is age 13 at most. This is verified by the fact that that, when she m. Colin SARTY in 1915, she gives her age as 29, which would place her birth in 1886, and that agrees with the 1891 Census.
