Notes |
- The 1920 Census lists Minnie (Locke) CHAISSON, daughter, as divorced, living with her parents. Directly below her entry is John CHAISSON, age 5 3/12, Son-in-Law [sic]. From other documents, John appears to have actually been born Apr 1915, so he would seem to be the child of William and Minnie.
Next under John are listed three grandchildren, Ralph, George, and Minnie CHAISSON, all born well before Minnie's marriage to William CHAISSON. If they are grandchildren, these are either Minnie's children by a previous relationship who have adopted the CHAISSON surname, or William's children by a previous relationship with someone other than Minnie. They could also be something other than grandchildren, and the CHAISSON surname could be a mistake as well, especially since according to a relative, William CHAISSON is only known to have had one child (John).
In short, I have no idea who they are. [Bob H]
