Notes - The 1881 and 1891 Censuses have her age at 9 and 19, respectively, and the 1901 has her DOB as 8 Jul 1861. If you look at the 1901 Census image, while the 8 July 1861 is quite distinct, the age could be read as 20, 29, 30, or 39 beCAUSe it looks like a 2 is written over a 3, and a 9 is written over a 0 [or vice versa] and we all know how the census taker often arrived at the year he entered. So my best guess is that she was b. 8 Jul 1871. [Bob H]
