- Although all sixteen child of Jean LAVENDER are listed as full siblings in the obit for Robert BELL, this is clearly not true. First, one of them (Anna) is surnamed FARMER in her mother's obit; and second son Robert St. Clair BELL is born nine years after John Seldon BELL's death. Since she is named FARMER [as is daughter Anna] in her obit, it would appear that Jean marries Gordon FARMER at some point. But the question of which children belong to which father [and which mother] will seemingly have to wait for the 1931 and 1941 Censuses,
