Notes - His 1908 civil birth record lists his parents as Joseph and Ella CORKUM. However, he does not appear witht eh family on the 1911 Census, not is he listed as a brother in his sister's obit. Thus it would appear that either he was taken in or he was the illegitimate son of one of the CORKUM daughters, most likely the latter.
