  • Notes
    • Mary Ellen is recorded at St. Mary's as the daughter of Dominic and Ellen (Martin) SLAUNWHITE. However, there was no known SLAUENWHITE to bear the name Domonic before 1881. Further, none of the other SLAUENWHITE's baptised at St. Mary's have parents whose names even vaguely resemble Domonic and Ellen (Martin) SLAUENWHITE--with one major exception. Perhaps the majority of the SLAUENWHITE children baptised at St. Mary's during this time period were those of Henry and Ellen (Martin) SLAUENWHITE, and so it seems highly probable that Mary Ellen was their daughter.
