• Notes

  The 1901 Census gives a specific date of birth; however most of the dates of birth for this family in the 1901 are known to be in error. Since the 1891 has the age of his brother, Charles William SLAUNWHITE correctly, the 1885 date given in the 1891 is probably more accurate (although the 1891 names him as Robert). His 1885 DOB appears to be confirmed by the fact that he gives his age as 23 when he marries in 1908. [Bob H]
