John Benjamin ZINCK
1827 - 1827-
Name John Benjamin ZINCK Death 1827 Blandford, Lunenburg, NS [1] Birth 6 Jan 1827 Blandford, Lunenburg, NS [2] - The mathematical probability that a child is born on the same day as his next sibling and is the same sex as that next sibling is approximately .14 percent, so it is difficult to believe that there were two John Benjamin MYRA's rather than a mistake in the parish register. Also, John Benjamin MYRA dies in 1854 at the reported age of 27, which would place his birth in 1827 and, during that time period, two suceeding living children would hardly be given the same identical name. However, since the dates of baptism in the ZLL register are quite different and since ages at death were inexact at that time, there may well have been two John Benjamin ZINCK's in this family. Since, in that case, the name was re-used in 1828, this eems to imply the John Benjamin dies in 1827.

Notes - The mathematical probability that a child is born on the same day as his next sibling and is the same sex as that next sibling is approximately 0.14 percent, so it is difficult to believe that there were two John Benjamin ZINCK's rather than a mistake in the parish register. Also, the John Benjamin ZINCK who dies in 1854 has a reported age of 27, which would place his birth in 1827 and, during that time period, two succeeding living children would hardly be given the same identical name. However, since the dates of baptism in the ZLL register for the two successive John Benjamin's are quite different and since ages at death were inexact at that time, there may well have been two John Benjamin ZINCK's in this family. If so, the name was re-used in 1828, which would imply the first John Benjamin dies in 1827.
