  • Notes
    • It seems fairly clear that, unless a 1907 NS divorce in which the parties are identified only as "FADER" is his, William Arthur is a bigamist. I lean towards his being a bigamist since, at his marriage to Elizabeth Florence SOUTHER, he states that it is his first. In 1920, Florence states that she is a widow; however, that widowhood appears to be of the geographical, rather than the biological, variety.
